For maximum blog exposure, you must be an established writer. Google takes a writer's skill into account, giving them priority over other pages with a lower Author Rank. Google does not want poorly written, unfactual crap in its top search results. To establish yourself as a writer who is worthy of Google’s attention, you must become somewhat superhuman. Step back, radioactive spiders, toxic waste, and radiation accidents, I’m going to do you one better and teach you how to be a Kicka$$ superhuman digital writer--Curator style. 1. Establish your niche. Know yourself and know your industry. Google appreciates and recognizes writers who create unique and credible content that is based on a tight-knit niche group and industry. To accomplish this, generate curiosity among your readers and share new insights and findings. Also, build your readers’ trust by showing interest in their thoughts and opinions. You may be AN expert, but you’re not THE expert--don’t get overconfident and arrogant. Find the holes in your content and spackle them up to receive measurable results--consider what information your audience may be seeking and think of ways to meet those needs. If you deem yourself worthy, implement Google Authorship Markup.
2. Be social with others who are like you and are relevant. Prove to Google that your content generation goal is to present your audience with quality information. Look for like-minded individuals on social media sites who share your niche interests. When searching for your followers, don’t waste your time on the spammers, only look for the most active and influential followers. Create unique, engaging, and interactive posts for your audience--use all forms of content like videos, graphics and images. One of the best ways to establish your undoubted social media authority is with frequent and relevant posts. It’s also important to verify your email information on G+ so Google can verify that you’re a real person. Always link your social media to your content and link your content to your social media.
3. Your audience has a persona, know it! Your audience’s persona allows you to create a reliable and realistic representation of your target audience. These personas can help add a realness to your content that your audience will understand and respect. Conduct plenty of research on your readers, then brainstorm and organize the information you’ve learned from your research into targeted groups. Refine your list of personas into primary and secondary groups--you should have 3-5 personas in each. Most importantly, be creative in composing your content.
With the proper training, you don’t need to be a content demigod, or an armor-wearing, emotionally traumatized rich man to be a content superhuman.
